A washed Ethiopian with delicate floral notes and a candied sweetness that sits front and center. The cup opens juicy and fruit-forward—think stone fruit and berries—with enough complexity to keep things interesting without demanding much from you. It's an approachable take on what Guji can offer: bright but not angular, sweet but not cloying. The Layo Teraga cooperative, made up of over 1,800 smallholders farming at high elevation around Uraga, ferments their lots short and dries them long, which likely contributes to how clean and balanced this reads. Works well as filter coffee.
